Job Description
Receiving and Checking Goods: Taking delivery of incoming goods, signing for them, and ensuring they are not damaged or missing. Storing Goods: Placing goods in the appropriate storage locations within the warehouse. Moving Goods: Moving stock using various methods, including by hand, with hand trucks, or with forklifts. Picking and Packing Orders: Selecting items from storage based on customer orders and packing them for shipment. Shipping Goods: Loading goods onto vehicles for delivery. Inventory Management: Tracking stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and ensuring accurate inventory records. Operating Equipment: Safely operating warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Maintaining a Safe and Clean Work Environment: Following safety procedures and keeping the warehouse tidy.
