Job Description
As a Voice Communication Systems Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to install, configure, and manage voice communication systems, including VoIP, CUCM, and other voice solutions. You will play a crucial role in setting up user accounts, extensions, and various system features while ensuring the performance and availability of voice systems. Your duties will include conducting regular maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches, and backups to guarantee the efficient and reliable operation of voice systems. In the event of issues, you will diagnose and resolve problems related to voice communication systems and associated hardware, providing technical support to end-users encountering voice system challenges. Collaboration with the network team will be essential to optimize voice network performance, troubleshoot network-related voice issues, and plan and execute upgrades and enhancements to voice systems and infrastructure. Additionally, you are expected to possess basic knowledge of troubleshooting network connectivity issues and develop data backup and recovery strategies. As part of maintaining system security, you will be responsible for conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments related to voice servers and devices. Documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps must be kept accurate and up-to-date. Moreover, you will be required to coordinate with vendors for technical support, system upgrades, and procurement of voice-related equipment and services to ensure the smooth operation of voice communication systems.,
