Job Description
Position Overview: We are searching for a versatile and engaging Anchor Cum VO Artist (English) to join our media team. This role involves bringing scripts to life with captivating vocal performances, as well as hosting and anchoring various audio and video content. The ideal candidate should possess a dynamic and expressive voice, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to connect with audiences across diverse platforms. Responsibilities: Provide professional voice over recordings for a range of projects, including commercials, podcasts, corporate videos, eLearning modules, audiobooks, and more. Interpret and convey the intended tone, mood, and message of scripts through vocal modulation, pacing, and enunciation. Collaborate closely with content creators, directors, and producers to understand project requirements and deliver voice overs that align with the desired vision. Host and anchor live or recorded audio and video content, including interviews, shows, webinars, and events, while maintaining a engaging and authoritative presence. Conduct research and preparation to be well-informed and articulate during hosting and anchoring duties. Provide creative input on script revisions, character voices, and other aspects to enhance the overall quality of the production. Record and edit voice over sessions using industry-standard recording equipment and software. Stay current with industry trends and evolving techniques in voice acting and broadcasting. Maintain a professional demeanour and uphold the highest standards of performance and conduct during all on-air appearances and interactions. Preferred: B.A. in English (Honors) or a related field. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style. Strong time management and organizational skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
