Title: VMC Setter / Operator Job Summary Millwright Industries, a Coimbatore based company is looking for bright, result oriented candidates for the position of VMC Setter Cum Operator. Responsibilities and Duties: Preparing for setting computer numerically controlled Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machine Carrying out settings for VMC machines Preparing for machining activities / operations on VMC Knowledge of safe working practices of VMC machining procedures Knowledge of the common terminology used, and the uses and application VMC Understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and extracting information Knowledge of the main features and working parts of the VMC, sequences and procedures followed Working knowledge of the various methods, equipment, material and devices used in VMC operations Knowledge of equipment used for positioning, aligning and securing Knowledge of checking quality, quality and accuracy standards and produce components standards Knowledge of the problems that can occur in VMC operations, their implications, and how to address them. Knowledge of basic maintenance activities, conducting checks and trial runs before allowing the machine to run in full program mode Key Skills and Competencies Numerical and computation skills Learning ability Problem solving skills Ability to take initiative Planning and organizing skills Self-management skills Team player Education: Diploma in Engineering Experience: 3 5 Years Salary: May be commensurate with qualification and experience as per industry norms.
