Responsibilities Develop and write CNC programs for VMCs based on engineering specifications and drawings Monitor the machining process, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance and output quality Conduct routine maintenance checks on machines, troubleshooting any mechanical or programming issues as they arise Implement and adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff Collaborate with engineering and production teams to streamline operations and optimize machining processes Document and maintain records of machine setups, programs, and production outcomes for quality control purposes Requirements Proven experience as a VMC programmer/setter in a manufacturing environment In-depth knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes, particularly with VMCs Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately Experience with G-code and other programming languages specific to CNC operations Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and quality standards Familiarity with various tools, fixtures, and machining equipment used in VMC operations Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team,
