As a Video Editor at SciSpace, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging content for our YouTube and Instagram platforms. Your responsibilities will include editing and managing multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality. Collaborating closely with the Content team, you will work towards aligning each video with our creative vision and brand tone. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential, along with familiarity in using Figma and Photoshop for creating design elements. A solid understanding of sound design and color grading will further enhance your capabilities. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 2 years of professional video editing experience. Being an avid content consumer who stays updated with evolving social media trends is advantageous. Prior experience in growing or managing a brand's social media presence is a plus, and having your own Instagram page or YouTube channel will be considered an added advantage. An interest in science, research, and academic content is highly desirable.
