Video Editor - Comedy ContentJob OverviewWe are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team, specializing in comedy content creation for stand-up artists. This role combines video editing expertise with a deep understanding of comedy to create engaging content including clips, memes, and promotional materials.

• Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing & Content CreationEdit stand-up comedy clips and performances using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Create engaging short-form content for social media platforms
• Develop memes and viral-style "thug life" edits
• Source and curate the best comedic moments from raw footage
• Maintain consistent quality and style across all content
• Content Strategy & Comedy UnderstandingDemonstrate strong understanding of stand-up comedy timing and punchlines
• Identify the most shareable and engaging moments from performances
• Create content that resonates with comedy audiences
• Stay current with comedy trends and meme formats
• Photography SupportConduct evening photography sessions as needed
• Capture behind-the-scenes content and promotional photos
• Maintain and organize visual content library
• RequirementsTechnical SkillsMust have own laptop capable of running Adobe Premiere Pro
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
• Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite applications (preferred)
• Understanding of various video formats and compression techniques
• Basic photography skills and equipment handling
• Comedy & Creative SkillsStrong understanding of stand-up comedy and comedic timing
• Ability to identify viral-worthy content and moments
• Experience creating memes and social media content
• Creative eye for visual storytelling
• Understanding of current internet culture and trends
• Professional RequirementsAvailability for shift timing: 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• Reliable and consistent work schedule
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience editing comedy content
• Portfolio demonstrating meme creation and viral content
• Understanding of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
• Experience working with performers or entertainment industry
• Knowledge of color correction and audio editing
