Designation : Vendor Management Lead (Mechanical) Experience : 12-15 years Location: Taloja , Navi Mumbai Industry : Fertilizer and Chemical Vendor Manager Responsibilities: Engineer having vendor identification, vendor evaluation , vendor onboarding, vendor performance monitoring and procurement background both for materials and services required in fertilizers and chemicals industry Ideally a Mechanical Engineer with 12-15 years of experience in Vendor management, purchase function. He should be familiar with vendors appropriate to medium to large scale fertilizers/chemicals industry operating complex rotating and stationary equipment , sophisticated electrical and instrumentation systems Can also be from medium to large size EPC companies handling procurement related to fertilizers/chemicals projects with some background on vendor management Should have experience of managing international suppliers Conducting research on available vendors for best pricing and product quality. Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire, evaluate, negotiate pricing, service-related concerns. Continually monitoring sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.,
