As a skilled U.K. Mortgage Underwriter at one of the Top MNCs, your expertise in the 4 Cs of underwriting (Credit, Capacity, Collateral, and Capital) will be crucial. Your responsibilities will include reviewing, analyzing, and making decisions on mortgage applications while ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards. Your ability to assess risk, income, and property values accurately will be essential for sound decision-making. You will be working afternoon shifts in the U.K. for 5 days a week. Your key responsibilities will involve evaluating borrowers based on the 4 Cs of underwriting, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining high-quality underwriting standards to meet federal, state, and investor regulations. Collaboration with loan officers, processors, and other stakeholders will be key to streamline the underwriting process effectively. To excel in this role, you are required to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage underwriting, preferably in U.S. or U.K. or global residential loans. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are essential for accurate assessment of financial documents and property risks. Additionally, your communication skills will play a vital role in effectively conveying underwriting decisions to internal teams and external stakeholders.,
