Job Description

As an Intern at SPREADD, you will have the exciting opportunity to assist in designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with senior designers and developers to implement design solutions, conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback, and creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD. Additionally, you will support the design team in creating user flows, journey maps, and other UX deliverables while ensuring designs are consistent with brand guidelines and meet accessibility standards. Your role will also involve participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and design reviews. To excel in this role, you should have familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe XD, a basic understanding of user-centered design principles and UX methodologies, and strong visual design skills with an eye for detail. You should also possess the ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, as well as good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A willingness to learn and adapt to new design trends and technologies is essential, and a portfolio showcasing design projects (academic or personal) is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking abilities, and knowledge of HTML/CSS are considered advantageous but not required. Preferred candidates may have graphic design skills, a background in Computer Science or a related field, or have completed relevant design courses or certifications (e.g., UX/UI Design, Design Thinking, etc.).
