Job Description

INTRODUCTION We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Divestment Resource, responsible for managing the end-to-end divestment process for a diverse portfolio comprising of residential properties, land parcels, office spaces, and industrial sites. This role involves working closely with clients internal stakeholders, and on-ground transaction teams to ensure the execution of timely, efficient, and value-maximizing asset disposals. CORE RESPONSBILITIES Opportunity Identification: Evaluate and identify potential divestment opportunities within the clients real estate portfolio across various asset classes. Stakeholder Management: Working with all client stakeholders across Real Estate, finance, legal, Compliance etc. to make all the assets investment ready in terms of available documents, stakeholder approvals to divest, aligning the workgroup on the process, values etc. Strategic Planning & Implementation: Design and implement a comprehensive divestment strategy, including property assessments (e.g., Broker Opinion of Value), sale timelines, and business case proposals for internal approvals. Onboarding relevant external stakeholders (appointment of brokerage team) to execute and deliver as per agreed strategy Buyer Engagement & Negotiation: Collaborate with clients and transaction teams to identify prospective buyers, support due diligence processes, and negotiate favorable transaction terms. Process Management: Define and ensure adherence to transaction process SOPs in order to ensure there is accountability across the transaction life cycle by all relevant stakeholders Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track divestment progress, proactively identify and mitigate risks or delays, and communicate critical updates to clients Transaction Closure: Oversee the execution of sale documentation (e.g., Sale Deed, Deed of Assignment) and ensure successful asset handover with all relevant stakeholders to conclude the divestments in totality QUALIFICATION & KEY SKILLS Bachelors degree. 5+ years of experience in real estate divestment related transactions, asset management, or divestment roles. Strong understanding of property valuation, and legal documentation. Excellent eye for detail and stakeholder coordination skills. Strong analytical, and communication abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and real estate management tools.,
