Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Developer to join our team for producing high-quality English skills certification and independent learning materials for deployment across web and Android platforms. STEP is a Chennai-based digital education startup and a division of The Hindu. Our mission is to solve one of the most challenging problems of our time; use technology to close Indias skills gap. Key Responsibilities: To produce high-quality English skills certification and independent learning materials for deployment over the web and Android app LSRW, assessed via a mix of multiple choice and AI-assisted speech-to-text open-ended questions. To write and develop relevant, engaging content for the STEP products in terms of English assessment questions, learning modules and video scripts. Coordinating with a large pool of freelance contributors - monitor and review freelancer-created content and provide relevant feedback. Collaborate closely with in-house AV producers during all phases of content production. Proofread learning content. Maintain high-quality output through a system of thorough review and verification of audio-visual content. Manage recruitment and training of actors and narrators. To deliver high-quality training and engage: with learners through various mediums such as live online classes/webinars, telephone and face-to-face lessons. with a variety of learners from children to corporate audiences.
