Job Description
As an Associate Direct Tax based in New Delhi, you will be responsible for handling income tax litigation across various forums. This includes drafting submissions before assessing officers and appellate authorities such as CIT(A) and ITAT, as well as drafting petitions before the High Court. Additionally, you will assist the Senior Counsel in hearings, conduct research and analysis of cases, and provide legal opinions. You will also have the opportunity to represent clients before the relevant authorities. The ideal candidate for this role should have a post-qualification experience of at least 1-2 years in Direct Tax Litigation and Advisory. Educational qualifications required include being a Chartered Accountant or holding a Law Degree from a reputed institute. To excel in this position, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities. Your interpersonal skills should be top-notch, enabling you to build and maintain relationships through effective teamwork.
