About DJENACOMPANY
Job Description
As a Textile Designer for home furnishings, you will be responsible for creating original textile designs such as prints, weaves, embroideries, jacquards, etc. Your primary task will involve developing seasonal collections that align with current trends, color forecasts, and consumer preferences. Collaboration with the product development team is essential to ensure that your designs are feasible for mass production. Your role will also include monitoring home decor trends, global design influences, and competitor products through attending trade shows, design fairs, and conducting market analysis. This will provide you with the necessary inspiration and benchmarking to stay ahead in the industry. In terms of technical coordination, you will collaborate closely with textile mills, printers, and suppliers to translate your designs from concept to final product. It will be your responsibility to prepare and update detailed technical design sheets and specifications for production. Utilizing CAD software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, NedGraphics, Procreate, or similar tools, you will develop digital patterns and mock-ups. Your focus will be on ensuring that repeat patterns, colorways, and textures are production-ready. Additionally, you will oversee prototype development and make necessary adjustments based on fabric tests or visual evaluations. Approving lab dips, strike-offs, and production samples for color accuracy and design fidelity will also fall under your purview. This is a full-time position that offers benefits including health insurance and leave encashment. The work location for this role is in person, where you will be able to immerse yourself in the creative process and collaborate effectively with the team.,
