Job Description
- Contacting Debtors:
- Reaching out to customers with overdue payments via phone, email, or in person (if it's a field collection role).
- Negotiating Payment Plans:
- Working with debtors to establish manageable repayment schedules that align with their financial situation and company policies.
- Maintaining Records:
- Accurately documenting all collection activities, including attempts to contact debtors, payment arrangements, and any communication with the customer.
- Resolving Disputes:
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or disputes related to the debt, ensuring a fair and timely resolution.
- Compliance:
- Ensuring all collection activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Escalation:
- Identifying and escalating complex or problematic accounts to senior management or specialized teams.
- Customer Service:
- Providing excellent customer service during collection interactions, maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
- Reporting:
- Providing regular updates to management on collection progress and key performance indicators.
