Telecaller / Telecollection Executive / Telephonic Collection Executive

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Telephonic Collection Executive located in Kolkata. The Telephonic Collection Executive will be responsible for contacting debtors with overdue loan payments via phone to remind them of their due payments, to recover outstanding dues, and negotiate repayment plans, and to maintain detailed records of all customer interactions & collection activities. The role involves managing multiple accounts, handling debtor inquiries and issues related to debts, and providing excellent customer service to ensure successful debt recovery and resolution, and meeting defined recovery objectives. The role also involves adhering to compliance guidelines and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

·        Make outbound calls to customers with pending or overdue loan payments.

·        Explain loan terms, outstanding amounts, penalties, and repayment options.

·        Persuade and negotiate repayment plans based on customer situations.

·        Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and commitments.

Qualifications

·        Debt collection and cash collection skills

·        Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·        Ability to negotiate and resolve payment disputes

·        Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities

·        Basic understanding of banking processes and guidelines

·        Proficiency in using telecommunication systems and office software

·        Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

·        Prior experience in debt recovery or a related field is a plus

·        High school diploma or equivalent

·        DRA certification is a mandate
