Sales and Marketing Assistant Job Role & Objectives Job Role: A Sales and Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing teams in their daily activities, ensuring that campaigns run smoothly and sales objectives are met. This role involves a combination of administrative tasks, customer interaction, and marketing support, making it a vital position in any organization aiming to grow its market presence and revenue. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Support: - Assist the sales team in generating and qualifying leads. - Prepare sales presentations and proposals. - Manage and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with new contacts and sales activities. - Coordinate and schedule meetings or calls between sales representatives and clients. - Follow up on leads, inquiries, and previous communications to ensure potential sales are not lost. 2. Marketing Support: - Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials (brochures, emails, social media content). - Manage email marketing campaigns, including drafting, scheduling, and analyzing performance. - Support in organizing and promoting events, webinars, or trade shows. - Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using tools like Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, and social media analytics. 3. Administrative Tasks: - Prepare and maintain Excel documents and reports, such as sales forecasts, performance metrics, and campaign results. - Handle customer inquiries and provide support as needed. - Assist with market research and competitor analysis to inform sales and marketing strategies. - Manage inventory of marketing materials and reorder as necessary. 4. Customer Relationship Management: - Maintain positive relationships with existing customers by providing excellent service. - Coordinate follow-up activities post-sale to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. - Act as a liaison between the sales team and clients to ensure communication is clear and projects are executed smoothly.
