We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tekla Checker & Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Tekla Structures to create, edit, and check detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for structural steel projects. This position requires a strong understanding of steel detailing standards, constructability, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities: Tekla Modeler Responsibilities: Develop accurate 3D models using Tekla Structures for structural and miscellaneous steel projects. Generate shop drawings, GA drawings, and CNC/BOM files from Tekla models. Interpret architectural and structural drawings to model components correctly. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet design and fabrication requirements. Tekla Checker Responsibilities: Review Tekla models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards (AISC, AWS, etc.). Identify and correct modeling or detailing errors, clashes, or inconsistencies. Ensure drawing quality and adherence to company and client standards. Coordinate with modelers and engineers to resolve design and detailing issues. Requirements: Proven experience in Tekla Structures (3 5+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of steel detailing practices, standards, and fabrication processes. Profienciency with AISC, OSHA, and other relevant codes. Excellent attention to detail and quality control. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Strong communication and organizational skills.
