Teaching digital literacy, logic & programming languages Bangalore Full time BACKGROUND As an organization we are driven by technology & our primary focus has been to train persons with disabilities (PWDs) on digital literacy, design, computer programming & software testing JOB SUMMARY Were hiring a candidate with a strong computer science background and a passion for inclusive tech education You will be responsible for: Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the digital literacy of individuals through standardized tests, observations, and assessments. Curriculum Development: Develop/update a digital literacy curriculum that accommodates the unique learning styles and needs of the students. Classroom Instruction: Conduct engaging sessions, ensuring that the content is delivered in a way that is accessible and understandable to students. Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students who require additional assistance in grasping concepts. Adaptation of Materials: Modify educational materials and resources to suit the requirements of students. Review: Develop appropriate assessment methods to evaluate students progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed. Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document students progress. Assist in addressing behavioral difficulties constructively and contribute to fostering a positive and safe classroom environment. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and reviews. Collaboration: Work closely with special education professionals and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment The ideal candidate would have: BSc Computer Science / Or any other equivalent degree in computer science 0-1 year of experience as a programmer, technology educator / trainer In-depth understanding of computer science and digital literacy concepts. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students. Flexibility to adapt intervention plans based on individual students needs and adjust strategies as necessary. Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads, maintain accurate records, and prioritize tasks effectively.
