About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Team Leader - Field Sales to lead our field sales team in achieving exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field sales, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
As a Team Lead, you will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. We are looking for someone who understands what it takes to motivate and lead a team. Someone to develop a firm foundation for our operations and innovate on ways to scale it quickly and effortlessly while delivering WOW to our customers The position holder shall be responsible for achieving individual targets and managing executives to help drive paid merchant acquisition and maintain regular partnerships to ensure desired productivity to maximize sales numbers
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of field sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive sales growth.
3. Sales Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing coaching and feedback to improve results.
4. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
5. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
6. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management.
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
2. Sales Administration: Complete sales-related administrative tasks, such as updating CRM records and managing sales documentation.
3. Market Intelligence: Gather and provide market intelligence to management, including competitor activity and market trends.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Sales Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in field sales, with a proven track record of success.
2. Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience, with a strong ability to motivate and manage high-performing sales teams.
3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
4. Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of company products/services and ability to communicate their value to customers.
5. Time Management and Organization: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
Educational Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Certifications and Licenses:
1. Sales Certifications: Preferred certifications, such as CSP (Certified Sales Professional) or CSE (Certified Sales Executive).
