Job Overview: As a Supply Chain Manager at Charbhai Bidi Works, you will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products/services. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution. Key Responsibilities: 1. **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company objectives and drive operational excellence. 2. **Procurement:** Manage the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, to ensure the availability of high-quality materials/components at competitive prices. 3. **Inventory Management:** Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and excess stock. 4. **Logistics:** Oversee transportation and distribution activities, including freight management, warehousing, and order fulfillment, to ensure on-time delivery to customers. 5. **Supplier Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure reliability, quality, and continuous improvement. 6. **Cost Management:** Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain without compromising quality or service levels. 7. **Risk Management:** Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. 8. **Performance Metrics:** Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 9. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with other departments, including operations, sales, and finance, to align supply chain activities with overall business goals and objectives. 10. **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to supply chain management, including environmental, health, and safety requirements. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
