Job Description
Job Responsibilities: Supervise and oversee all welding department, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Monitor welder performance and provide training to improve skills and efficiency. Conduct weld penetration tests and ensure proper documentation of test results. Maintain welding equipment and ensure regular calibration. Work closely with the production and quality teams to resolve welding-related issues. Enforce workplace safety measures and PPE compliance. Assist in developing and improving welding processes for increased productivity. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in welding supervision, preferably in a manufacturing setup. Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols. Experience in conducting weld penetration tests and quality control.
