Job Description
As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for understanding the OT routine, equipment, and patients. You must be aware of the O.T. protocols and layout to ensure efficient operation. Your duties include checking the surgery schedule and preparing for cases by ensuring that medications, consumables, instruments, and equipment are readily available for the surgery. It is crucial to verify the functionality of all equipment and conduct random checks on surgical and laparoscopic instruments to ensure they are in working order. You will need to identify instruments required for each surgery, check their cleanliness and proper functioning, and pack them for autoclaving or gas sterilization. Adherence to aseptic techniques is mandatory to maintain a sterile environment. The ideal candidate should have a GNM or BSc Nursing qualification with 1-2 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund. The work location is in person, where you will play a vital role in the operating room to support successful surgical outcomes.,
