Job Description
Staff Nurse Qualification: Basic B.Sc (Nursing) GNM Skills Required: Time management Critical thinking Leadership Flexibility Communication Administering medication Comfortable with technology Patient safety and well-being Basic care Clinical nursing skills Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care. Assist with the continuous development of staff. Identify hazards in the workplace and provide solutions. Treat emergency injuries. Develop programs to maintain health and safety. Identify work-related risks. Document all injuries and illnesses Monitor patients condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice Observe and interpret patients symptoms and communicate them to physicians Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients charts Adjust and administer patients medication and provide treatments according to physicians orders Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.) Provide instant medical care in emergencies Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.
