Job Description
As an enthusiastic Security Engineer at Ivanti, you will play a crucial role in developing a deep technical understanding of Ivanti products and services while ensuring the security and integrity of web and mobile applications. You will conduct comprehensive security assessments, interpret vulnerability reports, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to integrate security into all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining documentation for security processes, delivering insightful metrics to stakeholders, and staying updated on the latest security trends and vulnerabilities. You will also be involved in developing innovative tools and solutions to enhance product security operations and providing security education across the organization. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in web application security roles and possess a deep technical understanding of common and uncommon security vulnerabilities. Your passion for researching vulnerabilities, ability to provide practical remediation advice, and proficiency in applied cryptography and secure coding practices will be key to your success. You should be adept at explaining complex security topics to stakeholders with varying technical backgrounds and have experience in threat modeling, vulnerability scoring, and security tool implementation. Ideal candidates for this position are driven by a desire to make a difference, have a strong technical background in web application security, and excel in communication and collaboration. You should have experience in authentication protocols, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience is preferred.
