General Technologies is seeking an experienced Solution Architect. Minimum Requirements Extensive knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, system security measures, database management and web platforms. Background in both hardware and software. Excellent ability to communicate technical information to lay persons, especially in management. Some positions may require program management and mentoring experience. Computer science, information technology, software engineering or related field. Responsibilities Looking for candidates with IT Experience with Pre Sales Solution Experience. Recent experience should be within Architecture, Design and implementation of complex, highly available and highly salable solutions. Must have experience with migrating datacenters workloads towards Azure. Strong experience in Cloud Computing, Server/Datacenter virtualization, Storage, Information Security, Network. Should have experience on Enterprise wide Architectural governance, architecture decisions, exceptions, standards. Deliver scalable designs for migrating SAP applications to AWS, Azure, private clouds. Support sales team by creating solution options and estimates for cloud migration projects. Collaborate closely with customer point of contacts as well as internal teams to optimize delivery. Document standard operating procedures with appropriate controls to ensure smooth delivery. Document, evangelize and execute best practices on cloud migration projects. Create deliverables as part of cloud migration projects. Deliverables like solution design, hardware sizing, disaster recovery plan etc.,
