We are seeking a Software Engineer (DevOps/SRE) to join our client's centralized Site Reliability Team. As a rapidly growing company serving clients worldwide, you will be responsible for deploying highly scalable systems, optimizing infrastructure components, and supporting software products hosted on AWS. Cloud Infrastructure and Operations play a crucial role in delivering our technology offerings to users effectively. This role will involve working during EST hours (8am-5pm EST). In this role, you will: - Develop web applications with a focus on user experience. - Collaborate closely with the existing tech stack, including Python, Elasticsearch, Typescript, and AWS Cloud Native architecture. - Build APIs to ensure smooth data flow and storage. - Engage with designers, front-end experts, engineers, stakeholders, and clients. - Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and paired programming. - Ensure application reliability and quality, particularly in production settings with high user traffic. - Contribute to project scoping, estimating, and planning. Required qualifications: - Strong English proficiency for real-time conversations. - 3+ years of hands-on Site Reliability Engineer experience. - 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience. - Extensive experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, IAC, and Terraform. - Proficiency in cloud-based provisioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and related technologies. - Familiarity with AWS VPC, subnets, Network ACLs, IAM Role, EKS, Kubernetes RBAC, CI/CD, and more. - Experience with monitoring and observability systems. - Ability to resolve incidents, lead investigations, and adhere to Agile/Scrum principles. - Worked in a 24/7 on-call production environment. Nice-to-haves: - Knowledge of GitOps, FluxCD, ArgoCD, Kubernetes Operator, Go programming language. - Experience with Crossplane, Git, PHP, Javascript. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - Familiarity with security practices and secrets management systems.
