Job Description
As a Snowflake Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Snowflake environment, including warehouses, databases, and users. You will monitor and manage costs associated with Snowflake usage, provision databases and warehouses as needed, and integrate Snowflake with MSK (Kafka) as a mandatory requirement. Additionally, you will implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure proper access controls, integrate Snowflake with AWS objects like S3, Lambda, and API Gateway, and with Cortex AI. You will configure and manage network policies to ensure secure access to Snowflake resources and develop Python scripts to automate administrative tasks. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Snowflake administration, experience with MSK integration, at least 1 year of DevOps experience, a strong understanding of RBAC concepts, and proficiency in Cost Management. It would be nice to have experience with Cortex AI integration with Snowflake, Snowflake Data Warehouse, AWS services, and Python scripting for automating Snowflake administrative tasks.
