Site Safety & Compliance Officer HACS Engineering and Tech

Key Responsibilities:

Implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs across telecom towers, fiber laying, and installation projects.

Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.

Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Coordinate with subcontractors, site engineers, and vendors to ensure EHS adherence at all levels.

Maintain documentation of safety drills, training records, PPE issuance, accident reports, and site safety checklists.

Ensure compliance with national (e.g., Factory Act, Electricity Act, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and telecom sector-specific EHS regulations.

Conduct toolbox talks, safety induction programs, and regular EHS awareness sessions.

Track environmental parameters (e.g., fuel handling, noise emissions, waste disposal) as per guidelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Project, Operations, HR) to promote a safety-first culture.

Monitor and report EHS KPIs, including LTI (Lost Time Injury), near-miss frequency, safety compliance score, etc.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of telecom project environments (e.g., tower erection, BTS installation, fiber laying).

Familiarity with local statutory compliance and international safety standards.

Proficiency in incident reporting tools, audits, and safety management software.

Leadership and communication skills to manage and train site teams and contractors.

Ability to work in high-pressure, time-bound project conditions.

Diploma or Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH / Fire & Safety.

Diploma Required in Advance Industrial Safety
