Job description Planning Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor (Preferred Male Candidates for the role) Experience required will be 5-8 years. Proficiency in MS Office. A sound understanding of safety protocols. Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor Engineer in the real estate industry In-depth knowledge of quantity surveying principles, practices, and techniques Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Attention to detail and accuracy. o Responsibilities: Coordinate with project teams to establish project timelines and milestones. Prepare documentation and reports on project costs and financial performance. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans related to project schedule. Analyse project plans and specifications to determine the quantity and cost of materials, equipment, and labour required. Conduct site visits to gather relevant data and assess project progress. Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to stakeholders with suppliers and subcontractors. Support the project team in resolving cost-related issues and change orders. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quantity surveying. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare tender documentation. Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports. Assist in value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs. Manage variations and change orders during project execution.
