Job Description

You are a Shopify Specialist based in Chennai, India, working full-time at the office. Your primary responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes, as well as customize Shopify apps and integrate third-party applications. You will manage product uploads, collections, and store settings, collaborating with designers, marketing teams, and stakeholders to implement new features and improvements. Your role also involves optimizing website performance for speed, SEO, and mobile devices, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing technical support. To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Shopify development, proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, and a strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Candidates based in Chennai or willing to relocate will be considered for this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with Shopify Plus, understanding of SEO, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), and performance tuning, familiarity with Git or other version control systems, and knowledge of design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
