Job Title: Women's Shoe Designer & Pattern Cutter Company: Ticomp Heels Pvt Ltd. Location: Lucknow Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Women's Shoe Designer who is also proficient in pattern cutting to join our manufacturing team. This dual-role position involves conceptualizing innovative footwear designs and translating them into precise patterns for production. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design aesthetic, a deep understanding of footwear construction, and proficiency in both traditional and digital pattern-making techniques. Key Responsibilities: Footwear Design: Develop original and trend-forward women's shoe designs, including flats, heels, boots, and sandals, aligning with brand identity and market trends. Pattern Creation: Generate accurate 2D patterns from initial sketches, utilizing both hand-drawing and CAD software to create templates for various shoe components. Prototyping: Collaborate with sample makers to produce prototypes, refining patterns and designs based on fit, comfort, and aesthetic evaluations. Material Selection: Advise on appropriate materials, textures, and finishes, considering both design intent and manufacturability. Production Support: Provide technical specifications and pattern corrections to manufacturers, ensuring designs are accurately translated into final products. Trend Analysis: Conduct research on emerging fashion trends, materials, and technologies to inform design and pattern development. Quality Control: Oversee the quality of patterns and prototypes, making necessary adjustments to maintain high standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in women's footwear design and pattern cutting. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Adobe Illustrator) and traditional pattern-making techniques. Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills to liaise with designers, sample makers, and manufacturers. Preferred Qualifications: Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or a related field.
