Job Description

As a restaurant server, your main responsibilities will include greeting and escorting customers to their tables, presenting menus, providing detailed information about the dishes, preparing tables with linens and silverware, and informing customers about the daily specials. You will be expected to offer menu recommendations, up-sell additional products when appropriate, and take accurate food and drink orders using a POS ordering software or order slips. Ensuring that customers meet the minimum age requirements for consuming alcoholic beverages by checking their IDs will be part of your duties. You will communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff, serve food and drinks, and check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, reporting any issues that arise. Additionally, maintaining a tidy dining area, arranging table settings, and carrying dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning will be essential tasks in this role. Collaborating with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations, such as parties, will also be required. Adhering to all relevant health department regulations and providing excellent customer service to guests are key aspects of this position. This is a full-time position with benefits that include provided food, day and rotational shifts, and a performance bonus. The ideal candidate for this role should have a total of 2 years of work experience, and the work location is in person.
