Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision of tool room section along with monthly improvement activities. Manpower handling, Daily work distribution & monitoring, training, and performance management of line associates. Tool room short term & long-term activities planning. Cost reduction themes planning, identification, implementation & feedback. Daily Tool Room Activities MIS Preparation & reporting. In-house manufacturing of Jig / Fixtures & Tool Try-out for implementation in mass production. Breakdown handling with analysis report preparation & take appropriate action for future preventiveness. Jigs/Fixture, Special Tools & clamping units monthly PMI planning & execution. Cutting tools (drills, taps, reamers, honing tools etc.) re-sharpening & inspection. Department KPI's (SQCDME) target Setting & Monthly PDCA Preparation. Ensure proper 5S, safety of human being, machine & equipments. Measurable Deliverables Understanding of Engineering drawings and GD & T. Advance knowledge of all conventional machines (Lathe, M1TR, Milling, Tool & cutter grinder etc.). Advance knowledge of measuring instruments used in tool rooms. Basic Knowledge of CNC machine, Wire-cut & EDM machines. Basic knowledge of MS PowerPoint & Excel. Understanding of Oracle-ERP / SAP system. Analytical & reasoning skills with problem solving approach. Understanding Customer requirement, Customer handling approach for daily job works. Experience- 8-10 yrs into Tool Room Manufacturing. Location- Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh Qualification- Btech Mechanical Only,
