Job Description

As an engineer on the District Integrations team at Clever, you will be part of a mission to connect every student worldwide to a world of learning. Clever, a Kahoot! Company, serves 77% of U.S. schools and over 1 million K12 students internationally. Your work will focus on Secure Sync, the core platform of Clever that connects districts to learning application partners. Your contributions will be crucial to the success of Clever and the education of students globally. You will collaborate with product management, design, and marketing teams to research, design, and implement major new features that enhance the platform. Your responsibilities will include building resilient data pipelines, developing new features such as UIs, Go Microservices, and REST APIs, and supporting the integration between Clever and district systems. Additionally, you will mentor engineering teammates, contribute to Clever's engineering excellence, and work on the full stack to ensure the best possible user experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience as a full-stack Software Engineer. Experience with frontend frameworks like React, GoLang, REST APIs, TypeScript, NodeJS, microservices, and AWS infrastructure is beneficial. Knowledge of ETL pipelines, Git, continuous integration, deployment tools, and high-scale databases is also desirable. You should have led medium to large projects, demonstrated the ability to analyze complex problems, and a commitment to continuous learning and collaboration. The base salary compensation for this role ranges from $160,000 - $190,000 for candidates in the United States (excluding NYC and San Francisco) and $176,000 - $209,000 for candidates in NYC and San Francisco.
