Job Title : Senior/Lead QA Engineer Location : Bangalore This is a highly collaborative and supportive environment. The team work alongside a Project managers, product owners, Product Architects, Development team and QA teams to ensure what is delivered meets client requirements. The team workload is driven by Dev-ops boards, and we work using Agile software development methodologies. We are seeking a highly skilled SIT Lead/Senior QA Engineer with expertise and responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end System Integration Testing (SIT) across multiple interconnected enterprise products at Aptean. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of modern testing methodologies, be proficient in writing accurate test cases, and leverage AI-powered testing tools to enhance efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure high-quality software delivery while optimizing test automation strategies. A proven track record in leading SIT initiatives and leveraging AI-driven solutions to modernize and optimize end-to-end QA cycles Roles & Responsibilities: Work with cross-product teams to understand integration touchpoints, data flows, and dependencies. Identify SIT test scenarios, integration use cases, and system-level validations. Lead the design of SIT test plans, test cases, and test data requirements. Coordinate end-to-end SIT execution cycles, issue triage, and resolution tracking. Implement traceability from business requirements to SIT test cases and results. Use automation tools where feasible to support regression SIT suites. Collaborate with DevOps to manage SIT environment configurations and deployments. Drive defect root cause analysis and continuous improvement in integration processes. Track and report SIT KPIs and readiness metrics to stakeholders. Mentor and guide SIT QA team members, ensuring best practices and skill growth. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a quality-first mindset within the team. Collaborate with various development teams, business stakeholders and architects to establish goals and priorities for your teams. Support the wider business goals and processes, and drive team improvement throughout the QA lifecycle Work Experience 5 to 10 years Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years leading SIT efforts. Strong knowledge of system integration principles, APIs, middleware, and data exchanges. Experience testing enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, Supply Chain, etc.) Proficiency in tools like Postman, JIRA, Zephyr, Jenkins, and API testing tools. Good understanding of SQL and data validation practices. Exposure to microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise middleware platforms. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating test automation into DevOps workflows. Proficiency in writing test scripts using JavaScript, Python, Selenium or other scripting languages. Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate. Strong knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in AI/ML-driven testing methodologies and predictive analytics in QA.
