Job Description

Job Summary: The Senior Procurement Executive is responsible for overseeing the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of goods and services essential for the companys operations. This role ensures timely procurement, cost efficiency, vendor compliance, and adherence to quality standards while contributing to overall supply chain optimization. Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for cost-effective and timely procurement. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure best value. 2. Procurement Operations Handle procurement of raw materials, consumables, and services based on approved requirements and budgets. Issue Purchase Orders (POs), manage procurement documentation, and track deliveries. Ensure that procurement activities comply with internal policies and audit standards. 3. Cost & Quality Control Conduct price benchmarking and market analysis to optimize cost savings. Monitor supplier performance against service-level agreements (SLAs), delivery timelines, and quality parameters. Collaborate with QA/QC and operations teams to resolve material or service issues. 4. Inventory & Planning Coordinate with inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent overstocking or shortages. Forecast demand in line with production and sales projections. 5. Data & Reporting Maintain updated procurement records and supplier databases. Prepare and present procurement reports, including spend analysis, savings, and performance metrics. Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation. 6. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure procurement practices comply with legal and regulatory standards.
