Job Title: Smart Node.js (NestJS) Developer AI-Augmented Development Experience: 3.5+ Years Location: Onsite Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a smart and adaptive Node.js (NestJS) Developer who is well-versed in AI-integrated development practices. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in AI-powered IDEs, applying prompt-based programming techniques, and using tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, CodeWhisperer, ChatGPT (API), and other AI-assisted coding platforms to accelerate and enhance software delivery. You must have a strong technical foundation with the ability to think critically, solve problems efficiently, and innovate using AInot just write code by brute force. Core Responsibilities: Develop high-performance backend services using Node.js and NestJS in a modular, scalable architecture. Work in AI-powered development environments (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Codeium) to increase velocity and quality. Use prompt-based coding techniques to generate, refactor, or optimize code with AI assistance. Build APIs, services, and features that align with AI-first development strategy. Collaborate with product, AI, and frontend teams to bring intelligent workflows into enterprise-grade platforms. Ensure code quality, performance, and security using modern testing and DevOps practices. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 3.5 years of backend development experience in Node.js with NestJS. Strong understanding of prompt engineering and prompt-based solution development. Proven ability to integrate AI features like NLP, classification, automation, and smart decisioning via APIs. Familiarity with RESTful services, microservices architecture, and scalable backend systems. Experience working in enterprise-level development environments with code modularity and architecture ownership. Strong debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization skills. Preferred (Nice to Have): Hands-on experience using AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT for day-to-day coding. Experience with TypeScript end-to-end. Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, and background job queues. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker.
