Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Node.js Backend Developer / Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services and APIs. You will work closely with business stakeholders, customer teams, and internal developers to deliver high-quality technical solutions in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Node.js. Collaborate with business stakeholders and customer teams to gather and analyze requirements. Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Make strategic technical decisions and drive improvements in backend architecture. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure code quality through best practices in performance optimization, security, and maintainability. Provide regular status updates to customers and project managers. Advocate for and implement modern development practices, including CI/CD and DevOps integrations. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of professional experience in backend development with strong expertise in Node.js. Solid understanding of API design principles, including RESTful and GraphQL services. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and server-side application development. Proficiency in working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based project environments. Proven experience in customer-facing roles or consulting engagements.
