Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallurgy, material science, and chemical analysis to ensure product quality, process optimization, and compliance with industry standards. Key Resposibilities 1. Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing and analysis of foundry chemicals, alloys, and raw materials. 2. Develop and implement quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) protocols. 3. Conduct chemical and metallurgical analysis using techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and microscopy. 4. Research and develop new formulations and process improvements to enhance product performance. 5. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations. 6. Train and mentor junior chemists and lab technicians. 7. Collaborate with production, R&D, and quality teams to troubleshoot and optimize processes. 8. Maintain and calibrate lab equipment to ensure precise and consistent results. 9. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management.
