Job Title: Senior IMS Implementation Specialist Location: India (Chennai preferred) Experience Level: 8+ Years Industry: Fintech, Financial Services, Capital Markets Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IMS Implementation Specialist with extensive expertise in the fintech domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation, customization, and optimization of the Investment Management System (IMS) for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of investment management workflows, trading platforms, compliance, and risk management within financial services. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end implementation of IMS, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Collaborate with business stakeholders, including trading desks, portfolio managers, compliance teams, and IT departments, to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations. Develop and implement custom workflows, rules, and interfaces to enhance the platforms functionality. Provide expertise on investment operations, trade order management (TOMS), compliance, risk assessment, and performance analytics. Conduct gap analysis, system validation, and performance tuning to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance. Work closely with development teams to facilitate API integrations, data feeds, reporting, and automation of processes. Ensure seamless data migration and reconciliation from legacy systems to IMS. Provide end-user training and support for front, middle, and back-office users. Troubleshoot technical and functional issues and coordinate with vendors and IT teams to resolve them. Stay updated on regulatory changes, market trends, and emerging technologies in fintech to enhance system performance and compliance. Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of experience in fintech, investment management, or financial services with a strong focus on trading systems implementation and support. Hands-on experience with Investment Management Systems (IMS), e.g.: Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS), or similar Investment Management solution Strong knowledge of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments. Expertise in FIX protocol, API integrations, SQL databases, and scripting languages for system customization. Experience in compliance and regulatory reporting (SEC, MiFID, MAS, etc.). Proven track record of managing complex implementation projects in a fintech environment. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Having a valid US or Canada business or work permit visa will be a plus. Experience with cloud-based deployment models (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for financial platforms. Knowledge of machine learning and AI-driven analytics in fintech. Certifications in financial markets, project management (PMP), or system implementations (ITIL, CFA, FRM, etc.).,
