Job Description
As the Financial Reporting Lead based in Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial reporting function for the group. Your expertise and leadership are essential in ensuring that the company's financial reporting practices adhere to regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Deputy Vice President - Accounts, you will lead a team of CAs responsible for preparing consolidated and standalone financial statements. Your responsibilities will include managing the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, overseeing general entries, ledger scrutiny, stock verification, and inter-company reconciliation. You will coordinate external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements, while also developing accounting policies aligned with industry best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality and reliability of financial information is a key aspect of your role. In addition to financial reporting, you will be involved in auditing and taxation processes, liaising with statutory and internal auditors to ensure timely completion and maintenance of internal control systems. Compliance with Lodha Group's policies, processes, and values is crucial, and you will be responsible for upholding these standards. Your leadership skills will be put to use in building and leading a high-performing finance reporting team. Providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members will be integral to fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. To excel in this role, you should hold a Chartered Accountant qualification with a minimum of 10 years of experience focusing on Financial Reporting, Statutory Audit, and Financial Accounting. Previous experience working with Big Four Accounting firms is mandatory.
