Job Description
Job Purpose To ensure the quality and conformity of incoming raw materials, components, and parts through inspection and testing, thereby maintaining compliance with company standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities 1. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and components as per specified standards and sampling plans. 2. Perform functional tests using relevant tools and equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability. 3. Verify certificates of compliance, material test reports, and other documentation from suppliers. 4. Identify and segregate defective materials, tagging them appropriately. 5. Work with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues through corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Key Skills and Competencies 1. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and standards. 2. Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges. 3. Knowledge sampling techniques. 4. Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement corrective actions effectively. Qualifications and Experience Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Qualifications and Experience Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Quality. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Rate of incoming material acceptance/rejection. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timeliness and accuracy of inspection reports , CAPA, IQC reports . Working Conditions Primarily factory/warehouse-based with occasional visits to supplier sites. Working Conditions May require extended periods .
