Job Description
Job Title: Senior Engineer - Node.js Location: Gurugram Experience: 3-4 years Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer - Node.js to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development, API architecture, and system optimization. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable server-side applications using Node.js. Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints. Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security. Work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other NoSQL/SQL solutions. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.). Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices. Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and technical discussions with the team. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript. Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure). Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization. Knowledge of event-driven architecture, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus. Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions). Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
