As a Content Developer, your primary responsibility will be to create engaging, accurate, and original content for various platforms such as websites, blogs, newsletters, brochures, email campaigns, and social media. You will be tasked with developing academic, promotional, and editorial content that aligns with the university's tone and communication strategy. This includes writing press releases, speeches, scripts, and official communication for events, conferences, and campaigns. In addition to content development, you will also be responsible for updating website content and landing pages in coordination with the IT and SEO teams. It will be essential to ensure SEO best practices in all web content by incorporating keywords, meta tags, and enhancing readability. Maintaining a content calendar and refreshing outdated or underperforming content will also be part of your role. Collaboration with the Social Media Manager is crucial in developing captions, post descriptions, and campaigns for social media and digital platforms. Your written content should be aligned with current trends and university messaging to drive engagement and conversions effectively. As part of editorial coordination, you will proofread, edit, and format content submitted by other departments or stakeholders. It is imperative to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, consistency, and tone in all written material. Additionally, you will assist in preparing university publications such as magazines, reports, handbooks, and newsletters. Upholding the university's brand voice, tone, and guidelines across all written materials is essential. You may be required to draft internal communication, HR announcements, leadership messages, and support admission and marketing teams with campaign slogans, ad content, and brochures. Conducting research on industry trends, competitor content, and higher education writing norms will be part of your responsibilities. You will need to suggest innovative content strategies to enhance audience engagement and increase institutional visibility.
