Job Description
As the Branch Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring the smooth functioning of all departments such as loans, savings, and accounts. You will lead and motivate branch staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance, thereby fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Your role will also involve driving business development efforts to increase membership, loans, and deposit mobilization. You will be required to ensure the achievement of branch targets for loan disbursements, deposits, and other financial services while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and prompt resolution of customer issues or complaints. Monitoring branch financial performance, including profit and loss, cost control, and budget management, will be crucial. You will need to report regularly on branch performance against targets and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies, implementing risk management strategies to minimize potential losses. In addition, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting regular reports to senior management on branch performance, operational issues, and business development activities. Representing the branch in the community, building local partnerships, and implementing marketing strategies to promote the society's products and services will also be part of your role. Managing the branch's physical and financial assets, including cash, documents, equipment, and records, will be essential.
