Job Description
Job Responsibilities: Design and model MEP/HVAC systems (ductwork, piping, equipment) using BIM tools like Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD. Coordinate and integrate MEP/HVAC systems with Architectural and Structural designs. Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts to ensure seamless project execution. Review and modify design drawings for accuracy, compliance, and quality standards. Support project teams by providing technical expertise and resolving design-related issues. Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure all MEP/HVAC designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and regulations. Mentor and provide guidance to junior BIM designers and engineers. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design alignment and project success. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in MEP/HVAC design, with proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD). Strong understanding of HVAC principles, MEP systems, and relevant codes. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
