Job Description
As a Backend Engineer with 2-5 years of experience, you will utilize your expertise in systems architecture and database design to design scalable backend systems, optimize performance, and create efficient data models that support high-availability applications. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable backend architectures, developing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases, building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security, as well as collaborating with frontend, DevOps, and product teams. To be successful in this role, you should have 2+ years of backend development experience with Node.js, a strong understanding of system design principles and database architecture, proficiency with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, experience with cloud platforms like AWS, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture, and knowledge of CI/CD and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or possess equivalent experience.
