Job Description
As a Senior API Developer with 7+ years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot) or similar frameworks. Your role will involve leading the end-to-end design and implementation of microservices architectures, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery aligned with business goals. You will play a key role in contributing to architectural decisions related to scalability, performance, and security. Additionally, you will drive improvements in API performance, documentation, testing automation, and CI/CD practices. Troubleshooting complex system and integration issues, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders are also part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this role should possess 7+ years of professional experience in backend/API development, with expertise in REST API design, NoSQL/SQL databases, and cloud platforms. Strong understanding of security standards, experience in mentoring development teams, and proficiency in tools like Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Swagger/OpenAPI are required qualifications. Experience in the healthcare domain, familiarity with event-driven systems, and technical leadership experience are preferred qualifications. A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is desired for this position.,
