Job Summary The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role demands a professional with strong accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory knowledge, working closely with the finance team for timely financial records and reports. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. General Ledger Management: Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasts, monitor actual performance. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, income tax, and other regulations. Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation. Financial Analysis: Identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. Process Improvement: Enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. Team Leadership: Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations. Internal Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage internal financial reports for senior management. Coordination with CA, CS, and Audit Firms: Work closely with Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, and audit firms to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting. Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred. Experience: 4 to 7 years in accounting, preferably in a senior or supervisory role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software Tally and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various departments. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
